Terms of Sale:
Thank you for your interest in Poker Flat's NIgerian Dwarf Dairy Goats. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase and therefore we have some terms that govern the sale of our animals.
The buyer is responsible for payment of a health certificate and vet check (if required).
A non-refundable deposit of $100 will secure the reservation on an animal. We will only hold an animal for thirty days without further payments. After that time, the animal will be offered for sale to others and you will forfeit your deposit. We reserve the right to retain any reserved animal for any reason at anytime until animal is paid in full. All animals must be paid in full before leaving our farm.
We sell animals that are healthy and sound at the time of transfer. A purchaser has the right to a full veterinary examination at his/her expense on any animals to be purchased. We will not feel any responsibility for the health of an animal purchased from us from the time it leaves the farm unless we are presented with a Vet’s official statement that the animal in question had a condition prior to transfer. The risk of loss transfers once the animal leaves our farm.
BOARDING
IF seller agrees to hold animal(s) until a specified pick up date, then buyer must first pay for the animal in full and pay an additional boarding fee of $2 dollars per day, per animal being boarded. The boarding fee must be paid upfront before boarding period begins. (For example, if 10 days of boarding is needed for 1 animal then a $20 fee must be paid prior to that 10 day period.) The boarding fee will cover food, board, and basic care but will not include breeding fees or vet care, if needed. Buyer agrees to hold seller harmless, and not responsible, for accidental injury, illness, or death of animal(s) being boarded at our farm.
GUARANTEES
Please be aware that animals cannot be returned or refunded after purchase and that all sales are final.
Due to bio-security precautions, once an animal leaves our property they will not be allowed to return for any reason.
Animals and items are sold "as is" with no guarantees given nor implied. That being stated, we give our honest appraisal of each animal and always represent each animal's pros and cons truthfully. We will never knowingly sell an unhealthy or unproductive animal. All breeding does are sold as open (not pregnant), even if they have been exposed to a buck. Buyers may, at their own expense, confirm pregnancy or negative disease status of a particular animal which they have put a deposit on by arranging a blood test prior to that animal leaving our farm. After an animal leaves our farm we are unable to assure that it is cared for properly so we cannot guarantee that it will not become exposed to illness, injury, or develop negative health effects due to improper care or stress of relocation while in another person's possession.
If you have any questions, please let us know.
Our goal is healthy animals and satisfied customers!
